Coming of Age Country
Brooks Huntley embodies the spirit of country music through his blend of effortless story-telling, impressive musicality, and John-Mayer-like inspired guitar sensibilities.
Born and raised in Austin, TX, Brooks is the grandson of a lifetime professional blues musician and byproduct of the Live Music Capital of the World. Music has been the center of Brooks' life since he first picked up a guitar at the age of 10, quickly realizing he had a natural gift for the instrument. Fifteen years later, Brooks writes, records, produces, and releases his own music reflecting his deep, thought-provoking outlook on this thing called life.
The singer-songwriter started playing at downtown Austin bars at 12 years old and built his craft with influences from Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and John Mayer. His soulful tenor voice has been heard from Austin’s ‘Dirty 6th’, to Nashville’s legendary Listening Room and Bluebird Cafe, where he was invited to sing his song “Roots Now” by hall of fame songwriter, Liz Rose.
Brooks Huntley is taking the industry by storm, making people stop to think a little deeper about the world around them.
